 13167 Very good pair of early Staffordshire dogs with a desirable raised #5 to the underside. This is a very difficult size to find. I purchased them as a pair and the could very well be, although slight differences. Please see all photos. Condition is very good. No cracks or restoration.  13120 Excellent pair of antique Staffordshire Dalmatian type dogs. I believe from the faces and detailing that they are Kent factory. They also have the small painters initial on the underside as do most antique Kent figures. Overall very good. Some minor losses to the grass on the base, as shown in photos. 5 1/4" tall. | *****ABOUT ANTIQUE STAFFORDSHIRE DOGS******* Please note that these dogs came out of the factory with lots of imperfections, glaze flaws, firing flaws, firing lines, and coloring irregularities. The pink on the noses may not always be the exact same color, the steam holes may be in different places, the faces may not always be identical. They were not painted in pairs, but put together after firing. Sometimes it is obvious that they are an original pair, more often it is not, I will always disclose if I did not buy them as a pair. I will do my best to describe major flaws and I will always disclose actual damage or repairs, but it is impossible to describe every little flaw. Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have. However....I get a lot of emails asking me if these are reproductions, from China, Fakes, etc, etc. They are not. I never sell reproductions. Although I understand someone may worry because of the volume of these dogs that I list and sell, I buy each and every pair myself in England. They are all antiques.
